Hey guys,
Had the Oxy sensor replaced yesterday and i cant beleive the diffrence, my car isnt running ne were near as rough as it was.
Will be filling up and seeing if the fuel consumption goes way down too.
Didnt think somthing like the oxygen sensor would do as much as it did.
Thats all right, thats ok, I drive a commodore anyway!!!!
So you didnt do it yourself then? hehehehe
i tried and tried but i couldnt get it out :P, had to get a tuff mechie to do it :$
Thats all right, thats ok, I drive a commodore anyway!!!!
how much did it cost??? oxy sensors will do alot... especially for your fuel consumption, mines on the way out... i can notice it when it decides to stop working goes from getting 400k's per tank to getting 250.... got 750k's last tank tho =D i was doing 110km/h constantly on cruize control for the entire tank tho (drove to nsw)
did mine a month a go, car loves me for it, scary thing is the old one was WAY too easy to take off. very loose. reminds me to check tightness of the new one, not much room to move in there with a full size spanner
i always find a small shifter works best
im not admiring your car im looking in disgust
Hey i might have to give that a try on my car, what other symtoms will i get apart from fuel ecconomy if the oxy sensor is on its way out.
jimbo
lol @ HDT_aero, yeh, i know, shame dad doesnt have any.

meh i never really noted a change in fuel economy when i cahnged mine.. I didnt have an error, i replaced it in the attempt to increase my economy... i think my main problem is that my driving is all stop/start on a hwy to work .. get around 14l/100km![]()
lol i can keep mine under 10/100 driving to work and back in a stop start several times situation
i have to drive like a grandma thow and it only takes one day of inpatience to stuff that up but i do find its mainly driving habbits that destroy your economy
