Gonna add any subs? Maybe further down the track.

    Possibly an external amp.

sounds like a good start, thought about getting vr/s door pods? then get 6" component splits, 6's in the doors and put the tweeters where the 4"s normally go.

try going with two way speakers instead of dual cones they give out clearer quality

unfortunately i didnt get pics or anything when i did mine, but its quite simple, get door pods, get the spacers aswell, i heard theyre pop rivetted to the door? cut hole in your door trim, make some new screw holes, screw pod to door trim, mount spacer to door, run wires, put speaker in, put trim back on. i forgot to get the spacers, so i made some from mdf and mounted them to the actual door trim, works ok.

Hey im pretty sure my headunit is the same. Its a Kenwood KDC -MP4029G. I put 4way 6inch Pioneer speakers into the front doors and got Strathfield to install 6x9 Pioneers in the back parcel tray. They had to do some modding to get then in. My Dad and I installed the front speakers ourselves. All we did was take off the door cover, and had to do abit of modding to the metal work inside the door for the speaker to fit in. I then cut out the whole in the door cover so the speaker could fit thru.

For a spacer all i did was cut out a piece of rubber from this old mat and placed it between the speaker and the door cover. Looks professionally done, had help from my dad in doing it. But after all that work, i would just suggest going and getting some vr/vs door pods and mounting those in.

Here is a link of the headunit installed: http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...achmentid=5059
