Bonnet Latch prob

Yesty went to open bonnet & didnt happen the first time i pulled the lever so i gave it a firmer pull now the lever has become loose. I would say the cable has come off the lever. Is there an easy fix? Havent had a major look at it as yet but hopefully in my lunch hour i will sort it out. So if u hav had this problem or know how to fix, post a msg.
