I recently purchased VP clubsport build no : 283
It has a shudder in the front under heavy brakes so i assumed warped discs and inspected.
The bloke at the brake joint said it would have 4 pot calipers and 330 mm rotors, Mine has calipers with slides and i dont believe the rotors are 330mm
The car looks legit, But im just hoping now somebody has put standard calipers on it? rather than the alternative that it is not a clubsport
Any ideas? im panicking

Shouldn't the build plate tell you if its a HSV model?

Doubt it. I don't think even VS HSVs had twin pots unless it was something particularly special.

Yeah my mate that works for holden ran the vin and its a legit clubby no: 283
the brakes are not meant to be twin pots, so im sweet there, does anybody know if the clubbys did come out with 330 mm Rotors on the front ?
Mine are smaller, was wondering if a previous owner has cheaped out, causing the shutter in the front

In that era, only the Group A's (and the Senators - if ordered that way) had the 330mm rotors and twin pistons. Was a common mod in the 90's to retrofit the Group A brakes to SV89's and Clubsports

Until the VT brake upgrade became the more "bang for your buck" method

Standard V8 Brakes with the "fins" on the calipers.

Size: 290mm x 23mm rotor with Double Diaphragm Booster and 1" Master.

Your a legend man !
Any idea what the size are for the rear rotors ?
And I'd imagine the caliper are just the single piston slide type ?
