Hey guys

Just a quick one, where exactly on a stock 304 sump should i weld in an oil return fitting for my turbo setup? Ive heard near the front passenger side at roughly the dipstick height is a good spot but there seems to be a bit of stuff consider ie clearances insice the bottom end, baffles ad so forth
Would it matter if i welded it in towards the back ? Seems an easier spot to do

Thanks

You have to keep in mind oil slosh under acceleration, and windage within the sump. That is why I think people have recommended the front passenger side.
I wonder if returning into the timing cover would work?

I dont think the timing cover would work, the roblem with keeping it close to the front on the passenger side is the oil pickup on the other side plus the baffles have to be worked around too along with going around the engine mount and oil pump. Theres nothing in the road at the back of the sump i just dont want to #### the motor or the turbo by rushing it
