vn sII into vg what problems

i'm looking at doing a VN sII auto into a VG auto colum shift and i was just wondering what problems i would be facing?

i haven't pulled an engine out of a VN befor so is it easier to do it with the engine and gearbox attached?

any help will be greatly appreciated
