I'm having my parcel shelf completely redesigned. I have to pull the old one out and make a template for the guy who's doing it.
How do you remove the parcel shelf? And without damaging anything?!

Tomorrow doesn't look good either.
God must love stupid people, He made so many.
all you gotta do is remove the bottom part of the backseat by pushing down near the front and pulling up from the back of it.... then unbolt upper part of the back seat (the part your back leans on)....
slide them off and you'll see plastic rivets holding the parcel shelf on..gently remove them and your done...if you have speakers wired up you'll need to disconnect them..as well as the rear braking light (as in the light that sits at the back of the parcel shelf) if you have one.
If your seat is a little tough to get out (the lower part), I've found that it's easier if you manage to get your hand down the back of the cushion (where the seatbelt buckles come through) and lift that up (instead of pushing down on the front). If you do that on both sides, it can make it a lot easier.
Gravity is proof that nature keeps getting us down.
be careful taking the bottom part of the back seat out that way. yes its easier but you can also bend the wire on the bottom of the seat.
cheers
