Its a problem thats only just started happening.
For some reason when I went to start this morning, I find that my fuel pump fuse had blown, which had also taken out my remote locking/immobiliser...
So I change that no problems, but now the oil light comes on when I trun the car off and it just stays on... Not when the engine is on, just when the engine is off.....
Any Ideas? Fluid levels are all normal, so is running temp etc.
Have you been playing with anything electrical recently??? - maybe the oil pressure sensor unit is buggered or you have a faulty ignition switch which is shorting internally and not cutting power off to certain things when it should. Are all the connectors under the dash tight.
I might have knocked a cable when I checked the internal fuse box, but aside from that its all normal and unmodded.
EDIT: .... nope, all connections are nice and tight....

you will also notice a slight ringing or eletrical sound in your engine bay when igntion is off and keys are out, i had the same problem, head down to bursons and ask them for an oil pressure switch or sensor for your model of car.a about $18.50, it's located just above your oil filter, and you are gunna need a midium size adjustable spanner and you should be all good
Yeah, I did notice that - it was very faint but definately an electrical "whine"
We'll see how we go tomorrow
It shouldn't flatten a battery overnight surely?
