Default Changing fuel filter - HELP!!!

    Hi everyone,

I bought myself a new fuel filter and I'm having trouble depressurising the fuel system....I've removed the fuel pump fuse and starting the car but it won't stop!!! It's as if the fuel pump has a second fuse or something....

I don't want to change it and get a mouthful of petrol...

The car's been running for about 3 minutes now with the fuel pump fuse OUT....what is going wrong here???

Even if I don't depressurise it, will it be that bad? Will the petrol just keep pouring and pouring out???

    Thanks!

I remove the plug that I thought went to the fuel pump but that didn't work either....I noticed that on my dash it said I had distance to empty: 0 (was about 300km before). When I plugged it back in it was ok.

There are two black square plastic things (well, more like 10) - EFI and fuel pump. I removed 'fuel pump' but the car refused to stop. Should I remove the EFI one as well?

If I don't get the car to stop, how bad will it be when I try to change it? Will it keep pouring out constantly and go everywhere?

Hold on, what's the difference between the fuse and relay? Which is the black square thing? I thought that was the fuse...

How do you know which fuse to pull out? I think there are two groups of 4 of them..... They don't have labels on them or anything like that.

Ok, I removed the fuse and the car doesn't start at all now which is good I suppose, I cranked it over for a while too just in case.
