Default How do you hook up the horn in a VN/VP/Vr/VS??

    Hi ppl..

Just wondering if anyone has hooked up the VN/VP/VR/VS horn from head to toe before(from scratch -steering wheel all the way to exterior horn)? I am jsut in the process of preparing mine for rwc and i haven't yet pulled off the steering wheel to see if the cables are their or not but i checked the horn under the car at the front and it isn't wired, no wires even going to it at all.

So to be safe id aprpecaite if someone could demonstrate in brief what to hook up, including via the relay or fuses if anyone has done this before.

    Cheers.

one wire hooks onto the plug on the back of the steering wheel pull off the cover from around the ignition and you will see it run a wire from there to the negative side of your horn relay should be under the bonnet drivers side under plastic cover, the relay should have a positive wire connected to it the positive output of the relay obviously goes to your horn and also a negative wire should be connected to your horn. Running to the horn relay according to my wireing diagram is a yellow black, Blue orange and a gray wire. the grey wire goes to the horn the yellow black wire goes to the horn switch inside the car and the Blue Orange goes to the horn fuse under the dash.

Hope this helps I assume most of your wiring will be there just look for the bits that have been removed.
