    Default papper spacer thingy in throttle thing

    i took apart my throttle thing and in the progress i like riped all these things that came off with it. they were like paper seals or something eeeerrrrr they like go between each part as like there a washer or something. um um um my gf said there called gazcats or jaskets something like that.

    so like do i need these things? cause atm i have none on are they ment to help in some way?

    umm,yeah...the words your after are, throttle body gasket...and yes you should get some new ones to replace the ones you tore, they help create the seal between t/b and manifold....metal on metal doesnt work that great at creating an air tight seal.

    mate u shouldnt be near a car let a lone pull things apart if you dont no what a gasket is dirrrrrrrrrrrrrr maybe u should get ur girlfriend to do the work for you

    Michael that gasket between the throttle body is very important for sealing the two metal surfaces together. It MUST be replaced if damaged. If you are cleaning the throttle body donot remove the green cap on the throttle stop screw or adjust this item. It is factory set. Just clean the throttle body bore inside with a good quality cleaner so as you hold the throttle body up to the light you can see light just shining around the throttle plate inside. Will assist in a better idle quality.

    Sorry michael was sent to the wrong addy, wasnt thinking, too stuffin tired working on shitboxes all day and the wrong parts all arrived for the cars I needed to repair today!!
