Default Proper sounding VNV6 With Catback

I just got my catback exhaust today sounds great. Its a 2 1/2 Inch with Mangaflow( i think thats the name) with streight thou mendral bent with a Standard round chrome tip ( even thou i asked serval times for oval)

What im asking is that i get the sound of the exhaust at low and mid range i cant hear it at all at higher rpms, and its fully silent at idle (I supected such)
Is this normal behaviour, btw this is without extractors.

i got a mild steel system from the catback with a twin 3" chrome tip
$300 all up (tip was $100) lol

sounds good when accelerating and my idle is kinda rough so it sounds fair good.
was wondering if a hiflow cat would make much difference to note or perfomance wise??

Extractors change the flow of the exhaust gasses, the exhaust gasses flow faster then stock headers.

Can you imagine the tone of the exhaust is changed by the flow rate?

LoooooL i see what your on about adox

your just sitting there going well extractors do this so I dont see how they would change the note of a zorst i will just post up that they dont and try and make it look like im smart

Go to a performance exhaust shop and ask em about it then you can come back here and appoligise

    Cheers Benji

no shit benji, i agree that they change the tone of the zorst.

i also hollowed out my cat, and dam u can so tell the difference in tone, i had headers, hollow cat and a standard zorst. so you could compare to other vl's
