both rear tail break lights including the little one on the rear windscreen, dont work at all when i press the break pedal..
ive checked the fuses under the steering wheel but there all good..
i havent checked the globes yet, but why would all three not work..?
but the actual rear tail lights work(not the brakeing lights)
what can i do about fixing this prob?
thanks all!
regards, adammm!
id check globes first, then check your earths, might just have sum dodgy ones.
Thats all right, thats ok, I drive a commodore anyway!!!!
check the brake switch. i don't know where this attaches, to the master cylinder maybe?
sounds like the culprit! Happened on my VL. Just got a new switch put in (I think on the VL it was near the accelerator under the car)Originally Posted by jules
the switch for the vn is located on the brake peddle, right at the top of the peddle, where it connects to the rail, that will be the culprit, the tail/break light's share the same earth. nice and easy job, for all the brake light's to blow isnt unheard of, it happend to me, all 3 went at one time, but check that brake switch
