opti-blue globes from supercheap auto are good but take some getting used to for the first few times you drive at night where there are no street lights !!!

ok, theyre blue painted over the lens, but they emit a white light, the blue filters out the yellow, but at certain angles they look blue.

but you can get blue parker covers or leds, theyre supposed to be illegal.

so, as long as it doesnt emit a blue light from head on (bluevisions, arctic blues, etc are fine.

the philips blue visions (which are the ones i ended up getting) are not a blue globe. they produce a white light. the ones above the blue visions are not adr approved so = not legal. the autobarn guy said the only reason they are illegal was because they dont last a specific amount of hours. i dont know how much truth is in that

very true, unless the philips rep is a bullshitter, i had a night where the rep told us all about them, crystal and diamond vision are not adr approved, because they last on average less than 350 hrs, adr is 400 minimum. but damn are they nice to drive with.

fu2, go the crystals, i got them in mine (freebies from rep , full set) and theyre awesome, you only lose probably a meter or 2 from standard globes, but sooo much nicer to drive with. oh, and cops wont know, as theres no real markings on there, they ask, theyre philips bluevisions.

diamonds have shit light distance, and are only really for bling, or people that drive at night wiht city lights all around, therefore not really needing headlights.

thanks for that. i will keep it in mind for when i need to get new globes. i noticed a hude improvement whith the blue visions. but they dont see as far as the narva + 50's. but the white light just make signs and road markings a lot easier to see

yeh, well the narva plus50s add 50% more light distance. theyre pretty good too, but im only going philips from now on, as theyre a quartz halogen, last longer, stronger glass. philips vision plus will give u same as narva +50s
