    Default Tuning

Does anyone have any advice on tuning for a supercharger (3.8 v6, 9psi)

When do i need more fuel?
how MUCH more fuel do i need?
    ignition timing? what happens there?

    greenfoam can you help?

    Suggestions?

    any advice/help appreciated!

I assume i'd want to give it progressively up to 15%? more fuel as it climbs up the rev range under load?

Ignition timing, i'd want to make ignition as late as possible? can anyone suggest a ignition advance table ?? (i'd be running premium, most likely to be 98 octane)

    help?

    hmm
bumpetty bump, someone must know a little about the topic?

So far from what i've read around, i've dropped back ignition advance 1 degree per predicted pound boost across all MAP readings.... it should build boost at 1psi per 620 rpm or so....

i've also lowered air:fuel mixture by a factor of .3 for approximately every pound of boost that hits the motor...

haven't tried this yet, but any advice?

with more tuning i should be able to get away without a rising rate fuel pressure regulator, right?

I've also changed the thermostat to an 82 degree one, with lower heat range spark plugs fitted....

i've set the fan to turn on at 95 degrees, turn off at 92 degrees....?

    Hello dude
You have the supercharger on?, You going to have to fudge the tune a bit because the stock memcal can't run into positive pressure, I will make you a demo one in a second :P I have to go shopping so it will be quick and nasty but you can see what to change, I'll use the HSV 3800 as a base, how many psi is it running? 3? 6?, ah sorry 9psi, I'll make it when I come home, stock injectors wont handle that much boost though

    Hi!

Charger is all in nicely and running....

this thing is LOUD! (still need to customize airbox to suit)

I'm using the chip that i played with above - the car feels much faster....
although i'm pinging in 2nd gear at wot at about 4000 rpm +

i'm running 1 heat range lower spark plugs and a 81 deg. thremostat, too.

What do you have to do with the memcal to allow it to run into positive pressure?

    You sure about these injectors?

    Okay - I've got a set of super 6 injectors 36lb lovely.

is the MAP sensor the one at the back of the intake manifold?
if so, it now lives at the entrance to the supercharger (sucktion side).....
