How much is my commy worth?

hey guys,

i was just wondering if you would be a able to answer some q's for me..

i have a 92' white vp commy, the other week i hit a gutter :b: ... well it seems i cracked my front strut bar..or front brace, whichever its called.. the steering is also probably out a little and will need to be re-aligned or watever as well.

so if i was thinkin of sellin it as is, how much would i get for it? mostly everything works on the car, only thing i can think of it the lfh electric mirror.
it also has most extras, like cruise control, electric windows, immoboliser, LPG, electric mirrors etc. also has a few extras..

otherwise, how much would it cost to get fixed, providing i can get it fitted by a mate..

and do you need pikky's or anything?
any help would be great.

well you must of hit the gutter pretty hard to crack the strut bar, and i take it it isnt lowered cos i cant even fit the original vn jack under my front bumper. you should be able to pick one of them up fairly cheap from a wreckers yard, provided you take it off otherwise they will probly hit you up for a few extra dollars. or it could just be a good excuse to go for a whiteline bar!!!

hmm, well it was wet at the time, locked up at hit probably at like 30-40 k's. the front right wheel and the strut were the parts which had contact as far as damage goes anyway.

and somewhere down the line, i heard that you have to lift the engine up slightly to be able to get the strut out, is this correct? cause if it is i wont be able to do it myself..

When you drive does the steering wheel bounce around? If so that has happened to me and it cost 350$ to fix thru a mechanic.. Balljoint etc.

haha, and no, to the other dude, not the ball joints, maybe the steering, but i think it came out alright.. just the lower brace but yet again somethin probably decided to screw itself to piss me off.

oh and i shall ask again, does anyone know how much it would be worth , or how much they would offer. perhaps if they have a lower front end brace, that they would like to get rid of..
