also what about body kits, are there many. also has anyone lowered a vp by cutting the springs

I would say faults VN to VR had manifold problems cracks, Some had fuel issues i know this. Slipping arse in the wet, Thats all thats about wrong with what i know of them.Power is great 127kw 293Nm. They will hit 100 in anything 8sec to 10sec.
The Buick V6 was a little louder with some piston slap etc. Some are perfect.
I just got a reco Tranny in my car and it's heaps better now this bugger rips my back when going into 2nd gear now.

Intiria is ok, Northing fancy.
Body kits. VP SS kits and the HSV's.
Lowering. My car when i bought it had the springs cut, It was a shocker i stil have pancakes in my exhaust system from it, First thing that was done when raised was the upper control arm bushes and it also done the Beering plates. I wouldn't bother with cutting.
On ebay you could grab some kings springs for about $230. Super or ultra low 60mm-80mm.
