when you take off the door trim you will see there is already holden there in the door,so no cutting metal, just take off your old door map pockets and put your new ones onthen cut and thats about it, if i can get sum pic`s of mine ill post them up for you
Real cars don't power the front wheels, they lift them
my series one didn't come with the pockets on the trimsthey were just blank
but yea i dunno how to put the ddoor pods on and i don't want to spend even more unneccessary money if i screw up

There was an article done in street commodore that shows you how to do it...don't know what issue but i have it somewhere lying around.
you will have to drill your own holes in the door trim, line it up with some messing around, cut a hole in the trim for the speaker spacer, did you get the metal speaker spacers with the pods? pop rivet them into the doors, screw speakers in and you're done. i think.
nah i didn't get the metal ones, they're black plastic ones the ones i got, it sorta tilts the speaker upwards
thanks again everyone

thats ok, couldnt remeber if they were metal or plastic, i didnt get any with mine, forgot about em. i had to make spacers from mdf
I did mine long ago and a friends a week ago. The plastic pods would sit on the door without any modification just mark and screw. The plastic wheather cover would requried to be cut where the speakers would go.
As for the screwing the pocket we used pop rivits on the screw holes to make an mark for the screws on the door trim.
Then using a jigsaw on the door trim for the speaker.
I hope that would help.
