    Default Not Starting Badness

I'm having a crapper of a time trying to get my car to run

Last night got the car running with supercharger, super 6 injectors, the works

was runnig way rich (fair bit of black smoke)...

decided to take it around the block calmly to see if it ran...

got down the street, car felt fine
first corner it started sputtering and not wanting to idle at all. managed to get aroudn the block and hasn't wanted to start since... Maybe a little splutter every now and then but no go.

I've been racking my brain for hours now and can't seem to find anything! Tried a differnt DFI module, tested all the connections and cables etc (all fine) and din't help..

    - I'm getting spark when cranking
    - crank angle sensor is working
    - fuel injectors are pulsing (have now fitted the standard units again)
    - fuel rail is full of petrol...
    - no error codes (ALDL'd it.. nothing)
    - tried two differnt computers, 3 differnt memcals.. nothing

    anyone got any suggestions?

I noticed one thing, last week when you'd have an ECU with no memcal plugged in, the thermo fan would turn on at ignition

now with no memcal FAN =not going?

    Any suggestions?!

    EDIT:
Just had a bit of a play with the fuel rail....

on the way out of the fuel rail (after the reg) I put a coke bottle and a length of hose ...

the fuel is coming out, but it's not coming out very quickly. (i.e. i primed it, started cranking for aobut 15 seconds, and only got about 150 ml of petrol...)

Does this sound like it's nowhere near enough pressure?

Yeah i just got a standard 2nd hand fuel pump replacement for now (completely blown the budged, but need car running)

The plan is to get an aftermarket pump that flows a crapton more than the standard one. I had one recommended by an EFI guy - this is only going by memory but i think the standard one flows 160 l/hour, this one flows 240 or so ?

The 'super 6' injectors are the ones of the supercharged six - $66/each from petroject in mitcham/vermont. for once i was glad I only had to buy six lol.

Car goes GREAT so far with the charger, very impressed - although I believe i'm only reaching a fraction of it's potential... At the moment the car is running factory fuel system with standard injectors - as it runs VERY rich with the super6 injectors in there. (at the moment it's running lean I assume, but it doesn't see over 3000rpm and 1/4 throttle just yet)..

As soon as i get my EPROM emulator working again I will (and please correct/advise me Dr. Bob) change the injector flow rate to .08 or so and run super 6 injectors, then start playing with tables to see how well i can get it to run.

also - does anyone know how the VS/VT ECU handles boost? I've heard kalmaker is the go for engine management, but how do the later models handle it? (is it because there's no MAP sensor?, only a MAF?)
