Default stage1 or 2 shift kit?? do it self or get it done???

hello there, what i am asking is should i get a stage 1 or 2 shift kit? (B & M jobies) . rreasons why i'm kinda leaning towards stage 1 is that i dont want hard shifts when granny driving, i just want a good solid gear change when the revs are high, also i'm having second thoughts about takling this myself as tranny's are quite complex and to loose one spring i'de be ****ed??

    waddya's think??

i got the stage 2 put in mine not to long ago and it isnt bad like someone else said, and we also put it in ourself and when you see what is in the kit you will be suprised, its only i spring and 2 small round pieces of metal that replaces the springs and i think thats all there was.

the hardest thing about doing it was only the time it took, which was like a bit over 3 hours only cause of all the bolts you undo, and its not hard to do it yourself either. try and get in touch with vn4play as whe was the one that put it in my car and im sure he will give you details of how to do it, he was meant to do a write up ages ago but he must be to busy working.

There customise-able you set the shift at your throttle level, ie chirp at full throttle...that means grany driving just gives smooth ass shifts.

    cheers,

    aZk.

im just worried bout doin it myself, like i am a bit mechanically minded, i,e i changed over my own motor and do all my own repairs, but thought of a gearbox is a bit much, like too many parts and if i was to misplace just one little spring in the vlave body then bam gearbox becomes redundent
