this has happened 2 me a few times..........
On sat i was goin round the round about, put my foot down a bit and spun the wheel, then as i was straightening up the engine cut ut for a second or so the kicked back in.
does anyone no wat it could b??
thanx guys for any help
I dont know what the problem could be, but i like your username!! If your really hammering it around the corner, + low on fuel.... maybe?
Don't have much of an idea, but it may be fuel related, but I doubt this as well. Describe other times that it has happened. Has it always happened after you boot it?
did you lock the wheel??? as in all the way to one side???, but yeah my guess is fuel not getting picked up cause it's all to one side, nothing to worry about unless it's consistant
hmm, i had a problem with my vn where it would just cut out but that was electrical, wouldnt start back up until u fiddled under the hood there... from sounds of it i think the other guys r right doesnt sound like an electrical fault.
VY works currently in PRODUCTION!!
Engine will still be sloow!!!!! ;-)
YES! finally i found someone else who has the same problem i had and i can pass on my knowledge.
My car was doing exactly the same thing. Right before it cut out lights on the dash would flicker. I had no idea what was going wrong at first but after i towed the car home (it cut out and wouldnt start again) i was told to check the ignition barrel.
So i removed the two covers just behind the steering wheel that cover the ignition barrel and steering column. To the bottom left end of the barrel there is an ignition plug, it didnt seem to be out of place or unplugged or anything, but i gave it a firm push towards the barrel (towards the drivers door) and i havent had the problem since.
Give it a go and let me know how you do!
Cheers
