Any ideas on what LSD Diff will bolt straight up to VP Wagon???
Thought maybe VL or VN - Not Sure
Heres one on ebay. My Vn berlina wagon came with one from factory
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/vn-station-wa...QQcmdZViewItem
so does this mean that the VN LSD diff will bolt straight up, or are there any mods to make it fit.
Any lsd diff from vn to vs wagon or ute will bolt straight in, no problems.
does it matter whether it is from an independant arse end or not.
It has to be live axle. Irs will not go in a live axle car!
sedan diff WIILL NOT FIT.. the strut mounts are difrent. ha ha that dudes is excuse for removing the diff is LAIM
thanks for the advice guys.
I love how the guy on ebay thinks it made his car rev high when the ratios are exactly the same from auto to manual! LOL!
maybe its not a 3:08 but hes probly just an idiot
Just change the diff center. They are practically the same 28spline (VL-VR) and they would bolt up in replacement to your open center.
Im thinking of buying a LSD from a V8 VN sedan disc to disc. Is it definitly a straight bolt in for my V6 sedan?
kilowatts are like drugs, the more you get, the more you want.
Definately straight bolt in! No problems.
go for the vq stato diff, it has lsd
and vq's are based on the wagon's chassis
Spoo1n thats all good in theory but statesmans are irs where the sedans and wagons are live axle! Not all vq statos are lsd by the way!
does anyopne know if vl centres botl starit into the boarg warner housing, as in the vl turbo diff??????
Yes they bolt straight in, but it will need to be shimmed up properly.
