Dude make sure you know how far from the edge of the bonnet it's supposed to go or it will look dodgy

relating to this - is there any reason for having a bonnet scoop apart from the physical appearance? Yes, looks tough, but do ones, particularly with the air flow capability, actually make any sort of a difference?

depends if you have your cold air intake sitting above your engine

On my Brothers old Torana Hatchback he had the A9X scoop and a double height huuuge blue finer filter ontop of the 253 that stuck way out of the bonnet right up into the scoop, you could drive around, floor it and watch the filter and chrome lid crank sideways as the engine was under load and back the other way when you backed off, maximum coolness it also made more power, then again in these modern days a ducted CAI would have been better but it's just not as cool is it ?
