knock counts wanted from vn v6

hi, does anybody know how to go about getting knock counts from a vn v6 ?
i know the vn `808 dont put out knock counts , so is there a

alternative/modified ecu (`165 ?? maybe) / memcal that will allow me to data log the knock ?

Can you burn your own chips?? I can post a modifed bin that will include the knock counts in the ALDL frame if you want?? It will be pretty useless, 160baud ALDL is far too slow to log anything useful and correlate it back to RPM and Load. It will show if it is knocking but that is about all.

If you are still keen, what BCC code are you using?? ie AXFW, ASBY?? What byte in the ALDL frame do you want replaced with the knock count??
