Is it possible to run a twin system all the way thru, I already have extractors,(on car when bought). Looking for a better note, not just a dull rumble.

Straight through cat? By straight through do you mean punched out? Hope you can afford the $10,000 fine that the EPA will hand you.

Don't stuff around with the cat, it's not worth it, it's so easy for them to catch you, and the fine is massive. A mate of mine actually had to sell his car to pay it. If you want the fine, then punch it out, if you like being able to drive around and know that you can't be arseraped for having a dodgy one then put twin stock cats on, will flow better than you can imagine.

I met a guy one the weekend with a punched out cat, I was worried mine wasn't working because my car makes a fair bit of fumes but compared to his woooooOOah mine is nothing. So yeah you can pick it easy

That and it takes the cops about 5 seconds to actually test it, all it takes is a little thermometer. But yeah, the smell is REALLY obvious.

I also heard a rumour a while back that the EPA are working on a vehicle mounted testing unit, so they can test your car while they are driving behind you. Don't know if they have that running, or what, but that would make it even easier to get caught.

Punched out cat = bad idea & big fine! To the original post i would recommend going for twin 2 1/4" max if you want to go twin pipes but believe it or not injected 5 litres dont actually sound that good with twin pipes (too barky fot my liking) But it also depends what quality mufflers are used because i have heard 1 injected 5 litre sound good with twin pipes because it had good quality redback mufflers, so it comes down to the old saying that you get what you pay for!
