    Default Upgrading VN ECU

I have read somewhere on this forum that you can upgrade the ECU in the VN I think it was to a VS or VR manual ECU to allow hooking up a lapto and tunning the engine while running can anyone point me in the right direction to find a tutorial or howto on this.

    Thanks

    Jamie.

The VR manual ECU just plugs in, after that you need a VR memcal modified to run properly on the VN

    thanks Greenfoam

By modified you do you mean placing the components from the original memcal into the VR computer or modifying the code on the memcal eprom?

What software do I use to connect to it and what sort of cables are required.

    thanks again

    Jamie.

$595 Kalmaker, i think is the only unit that can plug straight in and be able to tune on the fly
