im not sure but if its from a v6 and u put it in a v8 there might be a bit to much power and blow it.

    thats if it bolts on

It can be done but it's not worth it.

You would need a V8 Bellhousing and a V8 input shaft as the v6 one is shorter. Not sure about the clutch fork but that might need changing.

Plus the 8's have different gearsets. But if you're keen, change the input shaft and get another bellhousing and you're in business.

its not worth it for the head**** of having to change it a week later. Just save extra money and find a V8 one.

yep listen to stealthy. or.... you could save up a chunk and get a tremec. if your planning on anything over 250kw in the future. be sure to get a decent clutch also. exedy heavy duty are an awesome bang for buck. mine was about 280 bucks i can chirp 3rd in a v6. my mates 5litre sv vn wagon can chirp 4th with the same clutch. the one up from that is a cusion button but its like 600 wing wangs, its either on or off though. either stall or wheelspin at the lights. and you cant ride them or you shag em.

ohhh, i never knew anyone else was in the 'chirping 4ths' club. welcome!

my clutch is worth 1000, probably the downfall of all my gearboxes. Only thing i can recommend, get a decent clutch, but make sure its not stronger than your gearbox. $500 every 6 months is fine, but $2000 is ridiculas.
