Whats up, my vq is stock standard engine wise, i have $1000 to spend on engine mods just want to know what to do.
I was thinking spark plugs, injectors, rear muffler (for sound) and maybe head and cam, Whats everyelse think bout it?

hmmmm
good plugs yes...injectors no....muffler no - just get a cat back system...head and cam work, heaps more than your budget man..maybe some time in the future.
also grab yourself a hi-flow air filter and some good leads to go with the new plugs.

Changing Diff gears will get it moving too if faster is what you want. Just relised how old this thread is...............
