Thats a pretty good deal i think, I got quoted for $50 per spring (king springs) when i was looking at lowering my VN, (still on the list) , so this is pretty good deal when they are delivered to your door!!!

PS> does anyone know if a camber kit is needed on the front for a VN wagon when lowering, and would the springs for the sedans and wagons be the same.

    Cheers

Springs are different in the rear at least.. no you don't need a camber kit (never do on the front)... sedans with IRS need a camber kit when being lowered, but since the wagons didn't come out with IRS you just need a new adjustable panhard rod to keep the rear axel level.

Every IRS that is 2+" Low should have come standard with Camber kit.
I can't describe the look of a VT 3" lowered from behind, The wheels would fall over they are that bad lent over to chew the inside of the wheels.
    They sit like this -> ....../ \.....

indeed, ive brought off this seller before, hes reliable

umm, yeah u dont need a camber kit, BUT u do need a ajustable panhard rod

bewarned the front springs need to be compressed on if ur thinkin about doing the front ur self(better to let a professional do the front)

u DO need a ajustable panhard rod and i hate to say DONT SKIMP ON THIS
buy a kmac one, i have a cheapo one ($100) and it does the job but it comes loose when im driving sideways :P, or just turn too sharply, have to get under and tighten it back up, also could be the fact my exhust is rubbing on my sway bar... (cars too low :P)

ok ok, also something to take into consideration, get lower springs at the rear... the front springs take the weight of the engine drop me a email if u want to see my calais sitting on superlow kingsprings all around, also a good idea to get short shocks... heaps lock the springs in and prevent bottoming out...

    good luck
btw got mine fitted with all new shocks (monroe) and kings all round for $650
also get a wheel alignment with it,

expect to pay around $800-$900 to lower your car PROPERLY lol, i mean sure u can lower it for $0(lol cutsprings....or just take them out???) or even round $300, but its a good idea to get new shocks (rear atleast) and a ajustable panhard rod

so these springs wont fit the wagons? and where can i buy an adjustable panhard rod for a commie?? Im looking at getting superlows at the front with ultra lows at the back and "short" shocks all round, would this look good?

    Cheers

I would be moderately interested, provided it gets pretty cheap... Correct me if i'm wrong on the following:

    Backs are easy to do
Fronts are harder to do (not too hard? I've got access to a spring compressor)
I will need an adjustable panhard rod (non irs)
It'll look dodgy with stocky's and hubcaps, so I'll need new wheels too

Is there a guide on here at all for installing them? Or would i be better off supplying them to someone to put on for me? Thanks... watching this space...

fronts are piss easy to do if a you have a rattle gun and b spring compressors. If you dont have spring compressors dont even try you will most likly put yourself in hospital and the insurance company will prob right your car off.. A rattle gun makes life so much easier cause some of those bolts are that darn tight its not funny. Just remember if in doubt ASK someone cause its a very fidly job but once you have done it once you will be able to do it on almost anything.
