Hitech headers? any good

just wondering wat people think of Hitech headers??

got them fitted to his vn with a 2.5" to a 2.25" xorst, cost him $900 all up the headers are stainless steel. i dont really think i like the sound it makes and want opintions or experience from people that have these headers.
when he is cruzing at 100 it seems that it is too loud.

i want to get my own system that idles on a deeper note but doesnt sound sh!t when at higher speeds, and what does droning sound like?

i have pacemakers on mine, knocked out cat and a 2.5" berklee mandrel bent catback with a single muffler. it sounds beasty at all revs but anything under about 2000rpm its not very loud. i have absoloutly no drone or annoying loudness from my exhaust at 100. in my old vp it was an auto and only had a 2.5" redback catback with single muffler, standard cat and standard headers and at 100 i had a mighty drone that sent me insane.

never heard of these hitech headers personally...but its not the headers that contribute to the droning exhaust note.
most of the cars exhaust note comes from the plumbing from the cat back, so what type of pipes you got (stainless, mild steel, etc.) and the setup ( resonators, mufflers, hotdogs, straight pipe etc.) makes or breaks a good note.
