ok so planning on pulling off the black side strips on my vp....wondering if they just come off in the same manner as the badges..? guessing it would be a bit more of a job but yer...glue underneath it easy enough to come off?
planning on taking them off and spraying the door handles white + clear indicators....windows are tinted as **** so its just a black white look...gangsta shit.

hey, i took the strips off the other day, one side came off easy as, but the other left a long line of solid black mess thet had to be carefully cut off with a stanley knife.
my car also had 6 pinstripes up the side (yes 6, 4 gold and 2 red, to match the old man red interior ithink) so there was a colour difference. to get rid of this i used maguires "wet look" polish, brought it up a treat.
oh yeah, i used this cirtus spray crap to get the last of the glue off, warning this messes with the paint so don't use heaps
ey, i jsut took the side stripes off my VS the other day, and they were f*kn held on with sikaflex, that stuff is a biatch to get off, im not 100% sure if your will be held on with sikaflex, but if it is....get your self a caramel wheel from any car paint supplier and thatll do the job
wtf is a carmel wheel?Originally Posted by nick88
caramel wheel aka pin stripe remover....basically a disc that attaches onto a drill.
they guy that i bought my car had them removed but also they have had a metal plate welded in their place and been bogged so the body is smooth as not 1 single line
