hey,let me be the first to say welcome to the forums,

aight so you mean to remove the headunit so that you can plug the aux in the back of it??

did they leave you with security keys to remove the headunit??

im assuming they used a new bracket,
heres a guide that might be of some use(to remove the required panels of the console)

1.pull the ash tray out next to the gear selector, pull the entire panel up, it should pop off and the gear icon panel will fly away, dont worry u can match it up later...then unplug the ciggie lighter, to get this panel out you need to drop it in drive (car off with handbrake on, if not you'll roll somewhere lol) twist it to the side and angle it up a bit and it should come out

    2. now you will have 3 screws exposed for the headunit surrounding, undo these then pull the panel out, be sure to disconnect the A/C before applying pressure (dont be affraid to use force, u probbly wont brake it and if you do go buy a new peice at the wreckers for $5 =p)

    3. now with the headunit exposed there might be 2 screws either side, un do these and remove the headunit... plug it in and slide the (be careful not to pull the temp control gauge out too far, if the control rods come loose u'll spend the next 3 hours puttin em back on

    4. plug it in and re-assemble, you said you need to run the AUX cable for the
psp correct?... i reccomend feeding it through the inside of the panels and popping it out where the ash tray it, if you dont use it even maybe design a cover panel for it with a connecter for aux??? just throwin some ideas at ya

    hope this helps
