i just a got vp exec last week with a few mods, clubby kit, sports wheel, monster tach, 3 inch straight through, and am already thinking of getting the new 19x8 HSV senator signiture rims slapped on to get really started and seems i already know they wont fit i was wondering what i will have to do to MAKE THEM! i am lowering it so maybe get super low king springs first. will i have to get new struts coz they touch at the moment, and i think i will have to roll the guards ay? any help would be great thanks.
correct me if im wrong but if u put 19's on it then put super lows it will rub real bad you might have to keep it close to stock height and roll the guards.
but im not 100%

dam i want to have both 19's and superlows on front and ultras on the back... maybe i have to settle for 18s? or even smaller....
you will need a panhard rod, shortened shocks and probly roll the guards
You will definaylt be looking at rolling the guards and an adjustable panhard rod, 17s will fit with the car lowered with no problems after you roll the guards and do the panhard rod,, but 19s and lowered dont go together at all and i think you may struggle with 18s
my mate has a vn group a kit with 19's and is lowered, and the gaurds havent been rolled, so i odnt no how low it is, but my front is a little lower then his with his kit on, and his tyres sit under the rear gaurds and dont scrub, but dont take my word on it cause i havent done it my self
I've put 235/35/19"s on my VN with superlows all around and adjustable panhard rod and its fine, no problems at all
hsv wheels have a deep offset so if u hav irs u will need a spacer at the rear 5mm and it will rub slightly with weight in the car on the k frame not the guard , u can squeeze 245 no prob. on the front u hav to run 235 with a spacer other wise it rubs on the base of strut tower beleive me i learnt the hard way with a spare set of tyres i cant use.
CMI83, how is this so? i have tried my mates on mine and i didnt even want to lower the car back down fully after i put the 19's back on coz the tyre was already touching the strut and i dont think the cars been lowered at all. SIRIANSUN, im not sure if my mates were 235's or 245's but the tyre was definetly touching the strut... even if his were 245's i think the 235's would still touch, it sux.
