Head and cam work

How much should i expect to pay for someone to do some head and cam work in my 5 litre???

I am doing the exhaust first, but i think the head and cam is the best option for me as i dont want another 11 second monster, but just something that gets along ok....

Of course i will be doing the memcal and cold air once the internals are done...

Can anyone reccomend a sydney shop to explore this option??

not all that sure how much it would be for a v8..but when i was looking into some head and cam work for my v6 i got quoted $1800+the cost of a new chip.
