ok guys i need someone who can change my heater thingy its leaking under my dash bloody car

i need this as i need this to be fixed for my roady so anyone here can dothis for me cheap if possibe too as i was already quoted 400 bux and i thought that was funny

The quote you have been given is quite cheap as the heater boxes in the VN and most of the commodores after also need to have the box totally removed from the vehicle to change the heater core inside. This means basically a dash out job and whoever quoted you $400 is bloody mad and you should grab it with both hands!!! As if I was doing the job I would not want the responsibility of any warranty comebacks and the likelyhood of anything going wrong with the other components as well.

$400 Bux is Cheap its a Major job to Do about 6 hrs in toatal so 65 a hr just in labour no parts there's $390 take the bull buy the Horns & take the $400 Quote Cheers!!!!

Its the same problem as the EA and EB too -costs 500+ and its a stinking ugly job needing 3 hands sometimes.

mate ive just changed a heater core in my vp all you have to do is cut the pipes pull the heater core out cut your new one and join with heater hosing and clamps of course you will still have unscrew a few things but should take you a few hours PM me if you not sure and you want me to do it let me know id do it for you. And i can tell you now its a piece of piss
