    Default shift kit vq???

ey i was wondering about shift kits to put on a vq stato like the pros and cons of the project also i no this might sound like a stupid question but why do i always hear bot stage 2 shift kits never stage 1's what is the difference between them both... is there such things as stage 1 ... also when the gear change does occur ive heard it is a pretty hard change what is that like uncomfortable or what?? the answer to these questions would help out

people have install them on this forum do a search and you will find it really you should have the trans out its a big job i had a proper trans mech do mine. difference between stage 1 and 2 is stage 2 shifts harder in to 2nd and should have stronger springs few drill holes . once you get used to it its not so bad

shift kits rock, i did my own, its not all that hard if you know what your doing. just fiddly. drilling holes, replacing pistons etc.. i loveit, i wouldnt hesitate to do it again in all cars i own. i love the firm shifts. even do chirpies on 1st - 2nd gear change in V8's.

depends, ring around and get prices, couple hundred probably. well worth it, you wont want to drive a standard transmission again afterwards.
