have you jacked up your car recently????
when i had a good look at the gas system i ripped out of my car, the ****in goon, mounted the copper pipe, from the tank to the bay, along the sill, right where you jack the car, so everytime you jack up the car it pinches the pipe???

Have you had a backfire recently ? Mine sometimes blows the sock off the part just before the inlet and then there is too much air getting in that it wont run on gas. Once I put the sock back in place it works fine.

is your tank turned on? what do you mean you hooked power straight to the cutoffs? gas should only come out when the engine is cranking, what you could do is turn the tank OFF, then undo the copper pipe going from the tank to the bay, then slowly turn the gas tank on and see if you can hear or see gas come out, dont do this for long, just a sec or so, then do it all back up tight, then turn your gas tankk back on and spray some window cleaner around the join and see if its leking if not have a look under the engine bay.
Another question, can you smell gas? does it run on petrol? is it leaking anywhere, do the same thing with window cleaner around all the joins, just spray it on and see if it bubbles, well thats all i can think of, if you find anything else out just tell us on here so we can narrow it down.
    cheers

Check your filter. I have seen some clogged up with what looked like a combination of rust and mud. When they are almost blocked they can let enough gas trickle through to start the engine but not enough to keep it going.
