Question Yet Another Vn Rust Question

this time my rust isnt in the boot!

I have a vn sedan and there is bubbling above the rear screen, i can tell it has been repaired before but has come back, how much $$$$ would it cost to get it fixed? is it able to be cut and welded?

I have the same problem two rust holes in the back window me bro cut and welded it when he resprayed the car but now it has started in a slightly different spot at the back window the whole window will have to come out again and hopefully it dosen't break by the sounds of things your in a simular situation i have no idea what it would cost you coz it don't cost me nothing and even if i could tell you prices seem alot different where i am compared to anywhere else in this country.

Bad news having rust around your windows, that's why I allways tell people to buy a dark coloured VN-VS if you live in a cool climate, but then you are going to end up with a metallic and then that will be peeling off so you can't really win but I'd rather have worn out paint than rust .

Try and fix that rust as soon as you can and cut all of it out and weld new bits in and then seal the seal with anti rust stuff, fisholene or that old retro black tar or something/anything so water can't get in there ever again

maybe remove the back window... then sand it back to bare metal.... repair it with fiberglass.... then paint it with some good kill rust paint (White Knight epoxy paint) there's also a good 2 pack mix paint ( its thick) for painting evaperative aircons.... then put the window back in.... buy windscreen sealant and seal it again if the rubber is still good..
