I was quoted $460 for my VP wagon in Cairns QLD. :my:
i was quoted 395 for my vr sedan, thats the legal darkness with a lifetime warranty, in hbay qld
tint a car niddre, darkerst legal is what ia sked for, lifetime warrenty, 250, good job aswell
i paid $265 at Tintprofessor darkest legal in melbourne
i paid 195 for darkest legal at premier tint in melbourne

You're looking at $350 for the best quality tint. Thats the reflective stuff all round. Or you could pay $200 for the normal stuff which is crap in my opinion.
Make sure you ask a reputable tinter and ask for the reflective tint.
cost me a slab.. my mates a window tinter :P

paid $380 for my vs sedan darkest legal and that was including the old tint needed to be stripped off
and im about to get my vs ute done tomorrow $220 darkest legal

Don't go to United Windscreens. I had my quarter panel glass tinted there after the previous peice was smashed. It didnt cover the window properly, light came in on the sides of the windows. Shit quality compared to the tint on the rest of my car. Plus it was among the most expensive quotes i got, but they were able to do it straight away so i paid the extra (thinking more $$ would mean better quality).

After watching my mate who does it, who is a pro, i wouldnt recommend anyone trying to DIY ... its not hard, but takes a craplaod of practice by the look of it.
