I would think that if you are removing the dash then the stereo is the EASIEST part.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!

ok im sick of this shit in threads, someone asks something and then all the posts are completley stupdi with nothing to do with the origenal ****ing question, it happens all the god damn time.

get the **** out of the thread if you cant help the person!..

as for the question vnberlwagon, I dont think you need to remove your headunit, i dont even think the centerconsole part needs to come out.

Do you mean the WHOLE dash ? as in the vented area and stuff, or just the cluster with your tach and stuff?

Thanks for the reply Venomous, yeah the whole dash area above the area where head unit goes, if possible.

It can be done without removing the head unit.
It may be easier though to remove the centre console, head unit included, first. I haven't done it with a VN but all that I have removed dashes from were easier with the console removed.

Clarifying the question, to me at least, constitutes a valid post. My opinion only.
