plastic primer, then white paint in colour code of your car. you can sand the texture out of it if you want, but will take a while
another option is getting a vp/s rear bumper. should fit straight on. i think the vp white was the same as the vn white
that too, oh, if you go the paint option, dont forget to clean it good before painting.
didnt the vps come out in alaskan white or sumthing, im pretty sure they werent alpine white
thanks everyone. im thinken of painten it if i do i might make a how-to!!

u can also get ur car colour matched - ie the alpine white might not be so alpine anymore after 16 years and an alpine white bumper will stick out like dogs balls. Fairly certain autobarn does it, i'm sure plenty of auto paint places will too.
I pity those poor suckers on the freeway. Gas, brake, honk. Gas, brake, honk. Honk, honk, punch. Gas, gas gas!
I rubbed vaseline onto a rag and polished that into my stock VN bumpers. Don't look faded now!

i might have to try that method, i used to just chuck on some tyre shine on mine and it turned out well, but when it rained it had run marks everywhere and looked really bodgey. give us some pics of what it looks like, im very interested...Originally Posted by andy05

The vaseline looks pretty good, but I felt it was too hard to apply, and sometimes dirt and stuff got stuck to it (not hard to apply too much here and there) I went back to using Amour all, looks as good, easier to apply, stuff dont get stuck to it![]()
