    Default Rubber zost mounts

Quik question bout the rubber mounts that hold the zost up

mine keep melting and dieing, i got my zost system done not long ago and ive gorn through about 8, ive gotta replace them once a week and im geting pissed off.

SOOOOO is there a diffrent type of rubber mount i can use? maybe one that wont melt as fast? maybe a HSV one or something.

i've really got no idea how the hell they are melting, unless you use latex ones or somehting? mine use to slip off after i put a lukey system in, i just used some low tensile fencing wire from bunnings to secure it. worked a treat

ok...coupla questions, are you possitive they are "melting" and not just breaking?..because it would have to be incredibly hot to melt an exhaust mount.
also which mount is it? the one on the tail pipe?
if it is the one holding the tail pipe and it keeps breaking, most likely its the centre mount up near the cat thats gone and all the weight of the exhaust is being put on the tail pipe mount, thus it keeps breaking.

something is wrong with your setup then...the mounts shouldnt get that much heat to them that they'll melt.
the mounts your talkin about are the tail pipe mounts i mentioned, so what i said before still stands, you centre mount is probably busted....
