My 5 ltr HSV Enhanced VN Calais has a GMH factory tag on the radiator support panel.
I'm aware that this is a "Spare Parts tag", but what exactly does it relate to?
The tag reads:

Model: VN8V19
Body No: 92040919-S
Trim: 1st coat
Paint: PRIME
Built: HSPO 102 susp.
Eng: Trans: Axle:

Does this mean the car was replaced with a new body?????
Seems to me that this would be a monumental task, so why would anyone bother in the first place?

The car also has the normal vin tag etc in the usual place on the firewall.
