Need a new tailshaft.... wreckers or elsewhere??

My mechanic has suggested i get a replacement tailshaft rather than pull the existing one out as he has advised the centre bearings are ok, but it would need re balancing...

Shoud i be hunting at wreckers and run the risk of another dodgy shaft or are there any places in sysdney that would sell a reco shaft???

a reco one from a specialist would have a better warranty than one from a wrecker & at least the uni's you'll know are new !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
