My vn tends to let out a big trail of white coloured smoke when I put my foot
down in 100km zones, this is a bit of a concern, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or if anyone has any idea what it might be. Thanks

Oh yeah I have that problem too![]()
Isn't white smoke other then from tyres not to good.
My can blow some flat out when colder buts it's more like when the V8 supercars are running rich. And it's easier to see at night with cars behind you. And it only does it when it feels like itIt's got a mind of it's own.

You can get a little bit of white smoke just from the fuel burning at lots of revs and lots of fuel but not much, not enough to see from inside the car. Um the puff of dark smoke you see when any car is planted to the floor is the accelerator enrichment that pumps some extra fuel in when you floor it, just like on carbys. Lots of White or White/Blue smoke means your burning oil and somethings a bit dead in the motor
My car started doing this after I brought a performance chip for it, problem was the performance chip was set up for the auzzie vn, not the kiwi vn which doesn't have an O2 sensor, I run it for a week then it started playing up, just wondering if this is part of the problem
The NZ commodore doesnt have a o2 sensor? what engine is it mate?

doesn't a car blow white smoke / moisture if the head gasket is on its way out best be hopin im wrong if thats the problem...
How fast is the engine revving when it happens?
About 5000 revs, someone has told me it might be the injestors and unburnt
fuel, I don't have a clue
