Default Car smokes under heavy acceleration

My vn tends to let out a big trail of white coloured smoke when I put my foot
down in 100km zones, this is a bit of a concern, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or if anyone has any idea what it might be. Thanks

Isn't white smoke other then from tyres not to good.
My can blow some flat out when colder buts it's more like when the V8 supercars are running rich. And it's easier to see at night with cars behind you. And it only does it when it feels like it It's got a mind of it's own.

Is it more greyish/brownish? I thought this sort of 'smoke' was nothing more than built up carbon and crap being blown out in the form of dust/sort. you see all sorts of cars do it when people plant their foot down

You can get a little bit of white smoke just from the fuel burning at lots of revs and lots of fuel but not much, not enough to see from inside the car. Um the puff of dark smoke you see when any car is planted to the floor is the accelerator enrichment that pumps some extra fuel in when you floor it, just like on carbys. Lots of White or White/Blue smoke means your burning oil and somethings a bit dead in the motor

My car started doing this after I brought a performance chip for it, problem was the performance chip was set up for the auzzie vn, not the kiwi vn which doesn't have an O2 sensor, I run it for a week then it started playing up, just wondering if this is part of the problem

Thats what I'm saying, the chip was set to run an O2 sensor, but I have a loom not a sensor, so the computer was giving a a false instruction, I took the chip out as soon as I realised the problem, but car has been smoky ever since, I have the series 1 VN/89,
