VP gearbox replacements

i buggered by gearbox and am having heaps of trouble finding a replacement. Are there any other boxes that will bolt up like a VN one or somthing? MY VP is series 2.

You can only get a VP series 2 auto box for it as the flex plates have a totally different bolt pattern.
Even between VNS1 - VPS1 between auto and manual there is differences on the flex plate bolt up off the crank!

It's ridiculous.
What you can fit, is either a VP S2 gearbox auto, or CERTAIN VR S1 gearbox that are still the 4L60. (Non electronic)
The VP S2 runs an 8bolt flexplate/crank, where as, the VNS1 - VP S1 run a 5bolt pattern.
