    Different gear ratios. Sorry mate.

Scroll down, you'll find that the T5 for the V8 has different ratios.

    V6 Ratios V8 ratios
    First: 3.25 2.95
    Second: 1.99 1.94
    Third: 1.29 1.34
    Fourth: 1.00 1.00
    Fifth: 0.72 0.73

well i no the ratios are different now
    v6 is :3.25:1 , 1.99:1 , 1.29:1 , 1.00:1 , 0.72:1 R 3.15:1
    v8 is :2.95:1 , 1.94:1 , 1.34:1 , 1.00:1 , 0.73:1 R 2.76:1

so as far as i can tell, using the v8 one i should get more speed out of first and by 3rd it would be about the same, only in 5th it may rev alittle higher.
so that would be a good thing there.

but how many rpm higher would i be looking at for just 0.01:1 of a gear ratio difference??

and finnaly will there be any difference by me using the v6 clutch, v6 bellhousing, v6 flywheel, and v6 tailshaft, i also have my input shaft from the 6, so if thats different i can just use the old one right.

please i hope u can all get back to me soon cause if its fine to use an 8 manual then i should be able to get a new one tomoz
