    Default Girl needs help

ive taken to the liberty of fixing my car myself with a dent that it had in the side (i love you bog) and a pannel that was ruined when theives tried stealing my rims.
    See pictures below

Anyways my front bumper is hanging down really bad both sides and im dumb and cant figure out whats wrong. I think theres clips broken but it just dosnt seem to want to straighten up. Can anyone explain to me how to fix my front bumper and make it straight or how to tighten it up or what ever so i can take it to the spray shop after easter?

Please be mindful im a girl and this might sound stupid but hey im learning..

The clips they came out with must be pretty bad, most VN-VP's I have seen have the bumpers hanging off at the ends. Mine is, but it's not too bad. You can buy replacement clips, but I'm not sure how you install them. I have some here for mine, but have no idea how to put them on!! If i work it out i'll let you know!

hey if you hop under the front of your car you will see two support brackets that bolt to the chasis from the front bar if you loosen the two bolts you can support the front bar at the angle you want and do them back up, also there is a plastic clip on the front gaurds that may have popped out if that is the case just remove the bolts from the mount on the chasis, slide your front bar forward line up the plastic clip and slide it back. then do the bolts back up.
hope this makes sense and i hope it helps you.

yeah also check the one on the bumper(sorry dont have a pic) also a problem on them is the little metal lugs holding the plastic brackets can snap thats what happened to mine (left side of car can be replace right side needs tack welding back on) i got the new plastic clip on the body side for $8ea brand new from holden(wreckers were wanting $10) and the right side bracket with lugs from wreckers for $10.

If you undo the 4 bolts on the bracket that holds the front bar to the chasis and wiggle the front bar side to side slowly whilst pulling forward(dont pull down, you will brake the plastic clips) you will free the front bar from the car to see if anything needs replacing! then if anything is not broken you can just slide the bar back onto the plastic clips then do up the 4 bolts so the bar is lined up properly(i use a mate to hold and push each side of the front bar in while i guide the front bar into the plastic clips)
Note: you will also need something to support the front bar while you do up the four bolts, as the bar will want to sag forward.

Replacements for the mushroom shaped lugs that get torn off the the body used to be available from Holden and may still be. They are fastened like a rivet.

i hae the same sorta problem with the wags.. the rear bar has come away at one side. The plastic clip is fine but the steal lugs have broken off. When i get some cash ill go find out if you can get those lugs from holden.

first u have to take the reflectors out of the rear bar then there is a boltbehind each.
then there is a bolt inside the spare wheel space.
    and under the car
then it should just pull off.

    do u want pics?
