    Default automatic engine fan

    how do i fix it? it doesnt turn on i checked all the fuses there fine! any help would be appreciated

    i had the car idleing (and i was reving it a bit) for a while and the temp gauge was right up and it still wouldnt turn on.

    i put it on a switch the other day but i might forget to turn it on and cook my engine

    back of intake manifold from memory, theres like 2 or 3 sensors there. one of the other guys on here might be able to help with which one. my manuals down in the shed and its too cold now. if it isnt answered by the time i get up 2moro, i'll go check for you.

    If your car is using more fuel than it would normally then it is unlikely to be anything but the temp sensor to the ECU (2 wire plug at rear of inlet manifold). Your fan could be burnt out also, not a common problem with Commodores. Turn on your A/C and see if your fan comes on then, if it doesn't then then fan could be RS or you some other electrical problem such as a faulty relay etc.
