Some of them are in the glovebox because of an option issue...Cant remember exactly what. Full front bench seat? Column shift selector? Might be BT1 or ex-government?

really, thats weird, my mates vp calais has it in the glove box and so does my mates vn, i just thought it was standard, maybe not
It ain't standard, I've got a grandpa spec VN and it doesn't HAVE a remote boot release. I've gotta fix that up! Pain in the butt, every time I need something from the boot, I've gotta turn the car off
Gravity is proof that nature keeps getting us down.
yep, i want one, the VACATIONER didn't come with one either...
i had a calais and the boot release was in the glovebox and now i have a exec and its by my right side so i just thought that it came standard with the calais cause of everything electrical.
THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT
Um, yer it did, well at least in mine anyway... thats weirdOriginally Posted by jack.mcintyre

im pretty sure it was a calais option and i know you could get calais options fitted to other models,
mines in the boot aswell, yet my brothers G-SPEC (grandpa spec) didnt have one, it came with the motor and wiring but just no button lol.... seems pretty pointless cheaper to put motors in all vn's than change the assembly line for the vn tho
