    Smile Just a funny question !

    hey, i was just wondering how long did it take for you to realise that the boot realease button was in the glove compartment, it took me about 4 months to find out, my mate didnt find out after 3 years!!!!! just wanting to know if anyone else had this?

    my boot release butten isnt in my glove compartment and i have a vn v6 executive.... wtf

    Some of them are in the glovebox because of an option issue...Cant remember exactly what. Full front bench seat? Column shift selector? Might be BT1 or ex-government?

    really, thats weird, my mates vp calais has it in the glove box and so does my mates vn, i just thought it was standard, maybe not

    It ain't standard, I've got a grandpa spec VN and it doesn't HAVE a remote boot release. I've gotta fix that up! Pain in the butt, every time I need something from the boot, I've gotta turn the car off

    i had a calais and the boot release was in the glovebox and now i have a exec and its by my right side so i just thought that it came standard with the calais cause of everything electrical.
    THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT

    Hmm My S Pac has every electrical thing possible apart from climate,windows,mirrors..., It has electric aerial, cruise, trip computer, boot release

    yeah but that wasnt all factory. trip computer for example

    im pretty sure it was a calais option and i know you could get calais options fitted to other models,

    mines in the boot aswell, yet my brothers G-SPEC (grandpa spec) didnt have one, it came with the motor and wiring but just no button lol.... seems pretty pointless cheaper to put motors in all vn's than change the assembly line for the vn tho
